Overview

The Guests feature in ResPax provides an efficient way to manage and interact with guests whose bookings have been created within the system. This feature offers a centralised list of all guests associated with bookings, enabling streamlined communication and enhanced engagement.

Key functionalities include:

  • Guest List Management: Access a comprehensive list of all guests linked to bookings within the system.

  • Direct Communication: Send one-time emails or SMS messages to individual guests for quick updates or inquiries.

  • Customised Templates: Create reusable email and SMS templates for consistent and professional communication.

  • Scheduled Notifications: Set up notifications to be automatically sent to guests at specific times, improving efficiency and timeliness.

The main features are:

  • Guest List- Displays all guests associated with bookings made in the system.

    • How a Guest Signs Up - Explains the process for guests to sign up via the OBE (Online Booking Engine), including the information required during registration.

    • Returning Guest Logging in - Guides returning guests on how to log back into the system to access their profiles and bookings.

    • Guest Options available in OBE - Provides an overview of features available to guests logged into the system, such as booking management and profile updates.es.

  • Connect - Central hub for sending emails or SMS messages to guests.

    • Send Comms - Enables one-off emails or SMS messages to individual or multiple guests.

    • Templates - Allows the creation and saving of email and SMS templates for consistent communication. Ideal for bulk messaging.

    • Scheduler - Automates the sending of email and SMS templates by defining specific parameters.

    • Comms Log - Tracks all previously sent SMS and emails, including those triggered by system events. It also allows users to preview or resend messages.

    • Schedule Log - Records the history of automated email and SMS tasks executed by the scheduler.

    • Lookup Senders - Manage authorised email addresses and names that can be used as the sender for both manual and automated communication.

    • Content Fields - Customise email and SMS templates with booking and passenger details to personalise messages. These fields can also be used for one-off notifications.
