Overview

The Origin list comes with a default set of Countries with no preference in order. This list can be completely replaced with custom data if you want to use Origins for something other than Countries, or you can add origins and give them a preferential order so they appear at the top of the list.

This is the only Lookup for Countries. You cannot replace the contents of this lookup list and also have access to list countries as well.

Instructions

Add an Origin

  1. From the Main Menu, click on Settings > Lookups > Origins

  1. The Origin list comes with a default set of countries with no preference in order.

The ‘0' ranks in no order and is defaulted to alphabetical order, so if you want to order the origins in a customised order, select the origins you want from 1-10 so that they will populate first in the lists.

  1. A Staff User can delete a country if it has never been used in a booking by selecting the trash can Icon.

Note: If the country has been referenced in a booking, then it cannot be deleted and you will receive the following orange toastr message.

  1. The Origins will appear under the ‘country’ tab on the booking page in the Respax Admin Portal as seen below. (In this example, Australia is at the top of the list because it has been ranked in order with '1').

  1. The Origins will appear under the ‘country’ tab on the cart page in the Online Booking Engine (OBE).
