Settings
Overview
The Settings menu in ResPax centralises the configuration options required for managing system functionality and user access. These settings allow administrators to customise the system to suit organisational needs, from managing users to defining site-specific parameters.
The main features are:
Users & Groups - A menu providing access to all features related to Users and Groups management
Users - Manage individual user accounts, including roles such as agents, staff, operators, crew, and public users, each tailored for specific functions.
Groups - Create and manage predefined permission sets to streamline access control.
User Groups Permissions - Configure and understand the permissions available for each user group to define system access boundaries.
Promo Codes - Enable discounts or booking adjustments by applying Promo Codes and Smart Rules for advanced configuration.
Organisations - Manage organisational entities within ResPax, including financial owners, agents, operators, and contractors. Key functionalities include maintaining business details, defining terms and conditions, monitoring credit statuses, and configuring commission rates to streamline operations and compliance.
Sites - Control and customise the online booking presence of your business.
Site Details - Set basic site properties such as code, name, and status.
Site Theme - Define branding elements like colour schemes and design themes.
Site Image - Manage visual elements, including background images, logos, and favicons.
Site Settings - Configure advanced options such as mandatory fields, company details, and additional site-specific parameters.
Site Lingo - Customise language settings and label translations for site-wide use.
Analytics - Google Tag Manager (GTM) - Integrate GTM to track user interactions and analyse website performance effectively.
Tour Categories - Organise tours into categories based on shared characteristics to enhance system functionality. Tour Categories enable efficient Dashboard filtering, improve reporting accuracy, and facilitate the creation of targeted Online Booking Engine (OBE) links for streamlined user experiences.
