Overview
The Tour Categories feature is designed allows you to group Tours togetherefficiently group tours based on shared characteristics. For example, you may wish to group all day’s tours together, and then in another category group all overnight night tours together. The same tour may be added to more than one category.
How To Add A Tour Category
Instructions
Click on Settings >Tour Categories and then click on the Add Tour Category Button

You will be prompted to give the Tour Category a Name (Note: This field is required).

In this example below we have the tour category as Day Tours.

The Tour Category will now appear under the Sub Heading Tour Categories.

a.) You can select the Pencil Icon next to Day Tours to edit the name if you wish to

b.) Or you can select the arrow down button to expand any of the Tour Categories
You now have the abililty to drag and drop your tours into the Tour Category that you have created

You can search for the tour you want on the right-hand side and then ‘drag and drop’ it onto any expanded Tour Category on the left-hand side.

can create a category for all day tours and another for overnight tours, making it easier to organize and manage your offerings. A single tour can be included in multiple categories, providing flexibility in how you categorize and present your tours.
After Tour Categories are configured, the Grouped Tours will appear in the specified locations:

Jasper Reports: Tour Categories can be applied for custom reports upon request.
Tour Maintenance: The Tour Categories linked with tours can be viewed in Tour Maintenance, but they are greyed out.
Routes: You can also include Routes in Tour Categories, but these changes must be done via the Routes page.

The Confirmation Reports (Display Tickets, Components, Extras) are built-in Tour Categories that can be utilized for custom reports upon request.
Each subheading includes a type-ahead search, which is particularly useful for navigating a large list of tour categories and tours.

The list of tours within a tour category can be expanded or collapsed by clicking the dropdown arrow next to the tour category.
