Lookups are lists created and maintained by a Staff User. Once created, they can be used as type-ahead and dropdown lists throughout ResPax booking forms and maintenance screens. The Agent Category list comes empty by default. A Staff User can add custom data to the list and then group Agents into these Agent Categories. Examples may include; Local, Domestic, International, Wholesaler, Inbound, Outbound, OTA. Each Agent in ResPax can belong top only one Agent Category.

As well as Agent Categories, ResPax also supports Agent Types.
Each Agent in ResPax can belong to one Agent Category AND one Agent Type.
Both of these groups can be used in Reporting, and both can have prices set to the group.

Step-by-step guide to adding Agent Category Lookups

Origins (Quick Ref : System Settings / Lookups / Agent Category / Add)

  1. From the main menu, click System Settings

  2. Click the Lookups menu

  3. Select the Agent Category tab

  4. To add an Agent Category, click on the Add Agent Category button

  5. Add the Description, and click on the Save button

There are no filters or search option for Agent Category in the List view.
