How to Purchase a Gift Certificate Online (OBE)

Overview

Gift Certificates can be purchased and redeemed online (OBE) by consumers and agents.

Gift Certificates must be configured before they can be purchased and redeemed. Click here to learn how.

Instructions

  1. When a consumer or agent chooses a tour online (OBE) and selects the ‘Book Now’ button they will be directed to the tour information page.

  1. A Buy as a gift button will display under the tour heading. Click on the button to proceed.

  1. Click on the Terms and Conditions tab to read the T&C’s.

 

  1. In the Fares section the Gift Expiry Date will display and cannot be changed on the OBE (can only be changed by staff from the RBE tour settings, click here to learn how).

  2. Proceed with selecting the Fare and the Guests/Pax

 

  1. Enter the Gift Recipient Details.

Note

  • If you do not wish to send the Gift Certificate immediately, then please enter your own email address. The Gift Certificate will be emailed to this Recipients email address once payment has been made.

  • Enter a customised message to the recipient (optional).

 

  1. Review the Gift Price summary and then Add to Cart

 

  1. The consumer/agent would then finalise the gift by filling out the payment details to confirm payment.

 

  1. A purchase Confirmation will display once payment is confirmed with a Gift Certificate Number as a reference. The consumer/agent has the option to Print Confirmation.

 

  1. The recipient will receive an email with a Gift Code that they will need to use to Redeem the gift.

 

Reservation staff can view the exisiting Gift Certificates that have been purchased in RBE at anytime. Click here to learn how
