How a Guest Signs Up

  1. A Guest is the ONLY person that can sign up to the ResPax Portal. This can be done either from the ‘Cart’ page or the ‘Choose a Tour’ page by clicking on the Login button within the Online Booking Engine (OBE). Staff members are unable to sign up guests, their role is limited to verifying information and managing the existing guest list.

There is a lingo option available to modify the description informed “Login to save your personal details to future bookings”. This description can be modified from the Cart Page Section called 'Single Sign On Message’ in Website Lingo.

  1. The Guest then has two alternative methods for signing up:

A. They can select the ‘Sign Up Now’ link

B. Sign in with their social account (Google, Microsoft or Facebook).

  1. If the guest selects Option A - Sign Up Now’ link , they will be prompted to complete the Required Information

A.) Enter an Email Address and then click on the Send Code button.

B.) A verification code will be sent to the inbox of the email address you selected. Copy and paste the verification code from the Email Inbox into the Verification Code field (highlighted below) and then click on the Verify Code Button.

If the Verification Code does not work click on the Send New Code Button to try again.

C.) Once the verification code is confirmed, it will say that the “Email address is verified”. The Guest can change their email address or fill out their name and password to Create their account.

  1. If the guest selects Option B - Sign in with their social account (Google, Microsoft or Facebook), they will be prompted to provide the necessary details based on the selected platform—Google, Microsoft Account, or Facebook.

 

  1. Once the Guest Account is created, they will be redirected to the Tour List page and automatically logged in. If the account was created from the Cart page, their booking will be saved, and they can return to the Cart page to complete the booking process.

An email is sent to the guest confirming their sign-up in the ResPax system, including a link to access their account.
