An example of a Manual Promo Code
Overview
Manual Promo Codes are where a Promo Code would need to be entered manually in the ‘Promo Code' field on the booking page for the discount/promotion to apply. Below is an example of what needs to be configured to differentiate between a Manual Promo Code and Smart Rule Promo. Instructions for Configuration
After filling out the Promo Details ensure the Smart Rule switch is ‘Disabled’.
From the Rules tab the:
Criteria MUST have Promo Code selected for this to work.
An example below is the Criteria1: Promo Code > Equal to > Summerdiscount
Note
Summerdiscount is the PromoCode that was created in Promo Details.
You can have more then 1 Criteria but for this basic example we wont be adding anymore.
The Action selected in this example is Adjust ticket price by % with a value of 15 entered.
Note:
Do not input a % or $ symbol after you enter the number value, the promo will not work.

Select the Save button to continue
Instructions to Apply a Promo from the OBE
Once a tour has been selected ensure at least 1 Guest/Pax is selected.
Scroll down the bottom of the page to enter the Promo Code and then select Apply.
A popup message will appear with the Promo Code Details which signals that the promo has been applied.
Notes:
An Adjustment text will display with the discounted amount next to it
Click on the symbol next to adjustments to expand the details.
Proceed with the booking by selecting the Add to Cart button.
Instructions to Apply a Promo from the RBE
When creating a new booking, once a tour has been selected ensure at least 1 Guest/Pax is selected.
Scroll down the page to the Promo Code field and enter the Promo Code.
