Sources
Overview
Lookups are lists created and maintained by a Staff User. Once created, they can be used as type-ahead and dropdown lists throughout ResPax booking forms and maintenance screens.
The Source list comes empty by default.
A Staff User can add custom data to the list.
Examples may include; Google Search, word of mouth, website, brochure, tour desk, Facebook, returning customer.
Navigating Sources
From the main menu, Navigate to Settings > Lookups > Sources
Click on the +Add Source Button
Add a Description then click on the Save Button.
Note:
The Web Enabled toggle defaults to off. Toggle it on to display the item in OBE (Online Booking Engine).
There are no filters or search option for Sources in the List view.
Once saved, the Source that you have created will then display under the Sources Tab.
Note: Sources will appear on the Online Booking Engine 'Check Out Cart Page' for any tour that is selected if is web enabled.
Deleting a Source
A source cannot be deleted if it has been selected in any existing bookings previously. If you try to delete a pop up toastr message will appear as below. Best option is to disable the source by turning off the web enabled toggle switch.
Updating a Source
Important: Editing the source description this will update/change the source description for all previous bookings in the system.
