Instructions

Step by step guide to adding the minimum 6 values for a user via the ResPax Web Application

  1. From the Settings / Users & Groups Menu, select Add User

User Details Tab
As the Staff user creates the new user, the mandatory fields are displayed if not completed

  1. A new user will be enabled by default.
    To disable the user, deselect the Enabled switch at the top of the User Details Tab

  2. Add First Name (mandatory)

  3. Add Last Name (mandatory)

  4. Choose Organisation from the dropdown list (mandatory)

  5. Choose a Role from the dropdown list (mandatory) (see important notes/explanation below)

USER ROLES

 

  • Agent = Agent user requires a username and password to book online in ResWeb, OBE and for user mappings for RON OTA's

  • Staff = Reservations user requires a username and password to make reservations and maintain tours in R4A, RBE and OBE.

  • Operator = 3rd Party Operator user requires a username and password to access RBE to maintain resources only for tours operated by them

  • Crew = Crew user is a non Reservations staff such as Drivers and guides that need access to Manifests, check-in, boarding, but no access to change bookings and tours. Require a username and password.

  • Anonymous/Public = Public user for website direct bookings. The public user is assigned to a site, to display correct RRP prices, and track web bookings to the organisation the user belongs to

  • Passenger = Passengers are not considered system users and do not appear in the Users section. See Passengers <click here for link>

  1. Add Email address (optional)

  2. Add Mobile Number (optional)

  3. Choose a User Group (optional)

  1. Once you have filled out the user details Click the Save Button

Note: Once the user details have been filled out and Saved, the ‘User is Protected’ toggle switch will be switched on as default. This means you cannot add/edit the Login Details (Username and Password) unless you disable the switch.

  1. On the Login Details Card, Add Username (mandatory and unique - This field must be at least 6 characters long.
    Lowercase letters, numbers, underscores, dashes and periods only)

  2. Add Password (mandatory)

  3. Confirm Password (mandatory)
    The field requirements are displayed to the Staff User if the validated fields are not completed successfull

 

To protect the user, select the User is Protected switch. (see important notes/explanation below)

Uploads Tab
Files can be attached to a User (staff and agents). Limited to images and documents

  1. Drag and drop a file from the computers file explorer, or

2. Click on the Upload file, and choose a file or URL address, and click Open

3. Add a Label for the file (optional)

4. Choose a document type from the list (mandatory)
