Gift Certificates is a new ResPax module that replaces the previous method (Gift Vouchers) of creating a gift tour, and a gift site to control the confirmation email, PDF attachment, expiry date and unconfirmed status.

Available in RBE 1.4.6 expected in January 2024

What you need to know

Gift Certificate Purchase and is supported in the OBE (Consumers and Agents) and the RBE (Staff).

Gift Certificate Redemption is supported in the OBE (Consumers and Agents) and the RBE (Staff).

Gift Certifictate module is always enabled but not always visible
When 1 or more tours are enabled as a gift, then the Buy and Redeem actions will display

Instructions - How to configure

Step-by-step guide to configure a gift certificate via the RBE Staff login.

  1. Enable each tour to be sold as a gift
    In RBE, click on Tours > Tour Maintenance > [Tour Code] > Advanced Tab

  2. Enable the Sell As Gift option for this tour

  3. Set the Expiry in months (the default value is 36 months)
    Choose Save

     

  4. now set the ‘Owner’ Organisations Gift T&C’s
    In RBE, click on Settings > Organisations > [Owner Org] > Advanced Tab

  5. Enter the Gift T&C’s

  6. Visit your OBE Tour Information page for the same tour
    (example only : https://app.respax.com/public/std/tourinformation/REEF?site=STD )
    A Buy as Gift action button is displayed in the header

  7. On the Tour Information page is a new tab for the Gift Terms and Conditions

  8. On the CART page, the usual Gift Terms and Conditions are availble in the popup modal
