Access Azure Remote Desktop ResPax Application

You have two option to access the application. You can use either desktop client (Windows and MacOS) or web browser. The preferred method is desktop client as you can save the password in the local machine.

Access via Microsoft Desktop Client (Windows)

You can access Azure Virtual Desktop resources on devices with Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise, and Windows 7 using the Windows Desktop client.

This method doesn't support Windows 8 or Windows 8.1.

This method also doesn't support the RemoteApp and Desktop Connections (RADC) client or the Remote Desktop Connection (MSTSC) client.

Step 1

Download and Install the Windows Desktop Client. (Do not download via Microsoft Store)

Download using the following links:

Windows 64-bit

Windows 32-bit

Windows ARM64

Step 2

Open the application and click on subscribe

Step 3

Sign in using Microsoft account If you already have a Microsoft account, please select “use another account”

Enter the username provided by respax and click next

Enter the username provided by respax and click sign in

Microsoft Username: will be provided by

ResPax Password: will be provided by ResPax

Step 4

Once you signed in, click on ResPax” Icon and enter the same password again and tick the “Remember me” check box.

You will see you have subscribed to the respax-desktop-app workspace.

Access via Microsoft Desktop Client (MacOS)

Step 1

Install the client from the App store

Step 2

Open the Microsoft Remote Desktop client and click “Add workspace”

Step 3

Enter the Feed URL and click “Add”. The URL: https://rdweb.wvd.microsoft.com/api/arm/feeddiscovery

Step 4

Enter the Microsoft account username and password given by ResPax and click “sign in”

You will see that you have connected to respax-desktop-app workspace and the ResPax application.

Step 5

Adding user account for sign in

Click on edit in workspace settings

Click “Add User Account”

Enter the same Microsoft username and password given by ResPax, and give a friendly name for this user account and click “Add”.

Select the user account created above in this window and save

Step 6

Click on “ResPax” icon to connect to ResPax desktop system.

Please use incognito browser (CRTL+SHIFT+N), otherwise you will be signing with saved Microsoft account in your browser
