Add New Guest

In the latest release, passengers can now login using social sign ons

From OBE v1.6.1 the Passenger Login has additional tabs and fields available.
All guest have Contact Details and Address tabs available
Any Organisation (eg WEBPROFILE for direct online bookings) can be enabled to also show a Personal Information tab and/or a Membership tab for their guests.
The fields on Personal Information tab can be updated by the guest.
The fields on the Membership tab are maintained by Staff, and the guest can see but not update them

Instructions

Step by step guide to adding a Guest via the ResPax Web Application.

  1. From the Guests menu, select Guest List, and Add New Guest

 

Guest Details Tab
As a Staff user creates a guest, the mandatory fields are displayed if not completed.

  1. A new guest will be Enabled by default. To disable the guest, deselect the Enabled switch at the top of the Guest Details tab.

  2. Add First Name (mandatory)

  3. Add Last Name (mandatory)

  4. Choose Organisation from the dropdown list (mandatory)

  5. Role cannot be changed from Passenger

  6. Add Email (optional)

  7. Add Mobile (optional)

 

On the Login Details Card:

  1. Add Username (must be unique - This field must be at least 6 characters long. Lowercase letters, numbers, underscores, dashes and periods only).

  2. Add Password

  3. Confirm Password

  4. New guest is not Protected by default. To protect the guest, select the User is Protected switch (see important notes/explanation below).

  5. Save

     

PROTECTED USERS
Only Agent Users that authenticate into the ResPax Operator Network (RON) should be Protected.
To protect the user, select the User is Protected switch.
This will warn any Staff User trying to update this password, that the credentials are used to authenticate the Agent user into RON. The Staff user must unprotect the user before the password can be changed, then the Staff User must inform ResPax which protected Agent User profile has been modified, so the RON authentication can be updated.

 

Uploads Tab
Files can be attached to a Guest. Limited to images and documents.

  1. The top section lists existing documents attached to this Guest

  2. The lower section allows Drag and drop a file from the computer's file explorer, or

  3. Click on the Upload files, and choose a file or URL address, and click Open

3. Add a Label for the file (optional)

4. Choose a Document Type from the list (mandatory)

5. Enabled by default

6. Save document

 

Trip History Tab

A Staff user can access a guest’s Trip History.

  1. Click on BOOKING NO to Edit Booking

 

Advanced Tab

A Staff user can add a Guest’s Advanced details for collecting an exhaustive set of traveller information.

On the Personal Information Card all fields are optional.

  1. Add Initials/Code

  2. Add Date of Birth

  3. Select Gender

  4. Add Weight

  5. Add Height

  6. Add Licence

  7. Select Source of Business

  8. Select Country of Origin

  9. Add Passport

  10. Add Occupation

  11. Add Nick Name

  12. Add Girth

  13. Add Salutation

  14. Add Allergies

  15. Save

 

On the Contact Details Card all fields are optional.

  1. Add Business Phone

  2. Add Home Phone

  3. Add Fax

  4. Add Emergency Contact Name

  5. Add Emergency Contact Number

 

The Comments Card is optional.

  1. Add Comment

  2. Save

 

On the Membership Card all fields are optional.

  1. Add Membership Code

  2. Add Membership Expiry

  3. Enable/disable Insured

  4. Add Insurance Details

  5. Select VIP

  6. Select Size

  7. Select Level

  8. Enable/disable Subscribed

  9. Save

 

On the Custom Fields Card all fields are optional

  1. Add Custom Date 1

  2. Add Custom Date 2

  3. Add Custom Integer 1

  4. Add Custom Integer 2

  5. Add Number Tag 1

  6. Add Text Tag 2

  7. Add Custom Text 1

  8. Add Custom Text 2

  9. Save
